University Accessibility Center Mentoring Program
This program is designed to help students with executive functioning difficulties develop strategies to be organized and stay on top of class assignments, tests, and other academic responsibilities. Graduate student mentors will meet with students on a weekly basis (for approximately half an hour) through the first half of the semester, and alternative weeks during the second half of the semester. The student and mentor will focus on the development and implementation of organizational skills and accountability practices to promote student success. We expect this collaborative effort will lead to greater levels of academic achievement and skills that can be utilized in semesters to come. If you are interested in participating in the program, please contact Dr. Rachel Lyon, rachel_lyon@byu.edu, (801) 422-2767.
